You are light.
Did you know that you actually emanate light? The terms “shine your light” and “keep shining” aren’t just simple platitudes that people tell each other, but are actual directives that we can do?
For those of you who didn’t know this, I’ll leave an excerpt from my Positive Thought Healing course so you can learn a little bit more about how we actually emit light. I think this information will make a few pennies drop and help you glow even brighter!
The facts about your light ✨
Science has shown that if atoms get all hot and bothered, or really excited, they’ll emit light. Their colouring will range depending on how much they’ve been stimulated, but nevertheless – they do emit light.
This means that at a hardly discernible level, our physical bodies do actually emanate visible light. So whenever we talk about our inner light, remember that we’re not just using lovely terminology – but referring to a scientific truth.
Even the renowned physicist David Bohm explained that all matter is “a condensation of light into patterns moving back and forth at average speeds which are less than the speed of light”. He’s basically saying we’re made of light!
Recap these truths
- What are atoms? Energy.
- What can energy do? Change forms and become mass (matter).
- What is matter? Energy.
- What can matter do? Change forms and become energy.
- What can atoms do? Emit light.
- What is light? Energy waves.
- What can energy waves do? Change forms as they speed up or slow down.
- What is energy? Atoms, which are everything, including you and me.
With this knowledge we can now grasp the concept that, at any given point in existence, you and I are literally manifesting ourselves into material form – constantly, continuously, and never-endingly.
What’s more, our form can and will change, depending on how we control the variables of the E = mc2 equation. This means we can confidently and truthfully state the following:
- I am a body of material (matter),
- I am a body of energy,
- My body can change forms,
- I am a body of light,
- My body is immaterial (not matter),
- I am constantly creating myself.
What makes this even more awe-inspiring (and seemingly contradictory) is that light technically has a mass of “zero”, which is why it can travel so fast without getting weighed down by an infinitely dense amount of matter, as I briefly touched on before.
So when you think of this, and add it to our ever-changing equation of being a body of matter and a body of light, it’s like we are everything and nothing at the same time!
