Overwhelmed with negativity? Let’s reclaim and keep your power 💖💪

It's noisy out there.

One of the many challenges of being a healer in today’s world, is the constant flow of information that comes at us.

Whether it’s the phone, computer, or the radio. Even while walking or driving there’s signs, sounds, and messages from all places. And that’s not taking into consideration the interaction you have with other people.

The challenge.

The challenge here is to always try and maintain your focus on love. Especially when there are a lot of people out there who aren’t focused on that beautiful, joyous feeling.

Now it’s not possible to always stay on the one line, all the time because we are human. We have this wonderful ability to fluctuate between emotions. And that’s what we’re here for – to experience the ups as well as the downs.

However, when doing a healing session, it’s so critical that we focus in on that even, balanced energy of love. When we do that, we ensure we don’t bring the ups and downs with us into a healing session.

One of the things I’ve noticed about some of my circle of friends who are healers and are blessed with ethereal gifts, is that if they don’t pull their focus in while letting the negativity go – they can actually push that negativity onto their client.

The simple fix.

When referring to letting go, I mean when one has a negative feeling or thought that doesn’t align with love – to allow that negativity to come in so you can acknowledge it.

Then say to it, “Okay, that’s a bad thought” or “Okay that’s a bad thing” or “Yes that’s horrible” or “Okay what if that happens.

What you’re doing here is you’re letting that negativity “feed” through, but are not holding onto it. So you can let it go.

Then if the negativity comes back again, you acknowledge again in the same manner. “Okay, that’s bad” and continue to acknowledge it.

Negative Thoughts Going Down the River with Positive Thoughts Being Nurtured

As you do that acknowledgement – without interruption – what you’ll find is that it will start to “run out of steam” so to speak.

Then that negative feeling for that thought or thing will become less and less. Then once you “empty out” your mind with that negativity (low vibration thinking), then you’re in the perfect place to focus in on love, feel it in your heart and move forward with your session.

Don't build a dam, let things flow.

If negative thoughts come into our mind and we try to push back on those negative thoughts with “No no no no, I don’t want to hear, see or think about it” we build a metaphorical “dam” up against them (aka you ignore them).

You might think you’re protecting yourself, but what you’ve done is allowed that negative thought to well up, build up, and gain more strength behind your dam’s wall. And just like water building up more and more behind a dam wall, when it becomes strong enough – the dam will break. Then the negativity overwhelms you.

So instead of tryin to dam-up (ignore) the negative thoughts – we let them flow (acknowledge them). We say “Come on, come on through. We know you’re negative, we know you’re low vibration but I’m going to let you go right down that river”.  Then let it keep on going away from you.

When you do this – acknowledge but let go – you’ll find your power stays right where it’s supposed to be: with you! All while the negativity’s power just gets washed away down that river.
