The quiet revolution is here 🌸
What is the most radical thing you can do in today’s world?
Before I answer that, I want to take you on a little journey…
Because to really understand the answer, we need to understand how we got here.
Most of us have a phone. You’re probably reading this on one right now, or on a computer, or perhaps on a television screen. And there is so much to celebrate in that. We’ve achieved extraordinary things as a species. The ability to share knowledge, wisdom, ideas, and connection across the entire world is genuinely remarkable.
But there is a cost we don’t talk about nearly enough. We are always on.
What we were never built to handle 🌀
Before you even get out of bed in the morning, your beautiful brain is already processing an enormous amount of information. Just to have you function, to perceive your environment, to regulate your body, your nervous system is working at a pace and volume that is genuinely staggering.
And that was already true before the internet. Before the phones. Before the notifications and the news cycles and the social media feeds.
Back then, life still asked a lot of us. We had to think about our physical selves, our plans, our goals, our relationships, our responsibilities. There was already plenty to navigate.
And then we added an entirely new layer on top of all of that.
An endless, relentless, 24-hour stream of information that we have to sift through, process, react to, and somehow integrate into an already full inner world.
Here is the honest truth: we are simply, organically, biologically not compatible with processing that much, all the time. We were not built for this. And the effects of trying to keep up are showing up in our energy, our health, our creativity, and our sense of self.
The space within you 🌱
I want you to imagine something for a moment.
Think of your inner growth as a bubble. As you create space for yourself, as you think freely, dream, rest, and just be, that bubble expands. It gets bigger and bigger. You grow. You open. You come alive.
But the more you consume, the more that bubble is compressed. Every scroll, every notification, every piece of content that pulls at your attention pushes in on that bubble from the outside. It contracts. And contracts again.
So what happens is this constant, exhausting push and pull. You’re trying to grow, but the consumption is compressing you. You have dreams, you want to help people, you want to create something meaningful, but then you dip back into the feed and feel the contraction again. Up and down. Expanding and collapsing. Confused and depleted and not quite sure how you got there.
And through all of that busyness, without us even realising it, our inner growth is stunted.

What lives in the stillness 🌟
Here is what I know, from years of teaching and from my own personal practice:
Inside you, there is a reservoir. An ocean.
Of creativity. Of confidence. Of happiness and peace. Of knowing. Of possibility.
It is always there. It has never left you. But you can only access it when the space inside you is big enough to go there.
The more we let the outside world crowd in, the smaller that space becomes. The door to that inner ocean doesn’t disappear. It just gets harder to find.
Stillness is the key that opens it.
So what's the most radical thing you can do right now? ✨
Become still.
I know. You might have been expecting something more dramatic. Something that involves doing more, going faster, optimising harder.
But my sweet friend, in a world where every platform, every algorithm, every headline is designed to pull at your attention, to provoke your reactions, to keep you engaged and distracted and out there in the noise… choosing to go within is genuinely radical.
They want you to engage. They want you to react. They want your focus, your clicks, your outrage, your fear, your comparison. Because the moment you’re out there reacting, you’re no longer in here, growing.
Choosing stillness is an act of quiet revolution. It is saying: my inner world is more important than the noise outside. And I am going to tend to it.
How to begin 🌸
This is not about instantly becoming a yogi. It’s not about meditating for an hour a day from the very beginning, or doing anything perfectly.
Although meditation is one of the most beautiful and effective ways to create and expand that inner space, and I genuinely invite you to explore it, you don’t have to start there.
You start with a few moments.
A few moments every day where you put the phone down. Where you sit quietly, without an agenda. Where you let your mind settle like snow in a snow globe, slow and soft and still.
Then, as that becomes more natural, it might grow to a few moments every hour. A pause before you check your phone. A breath before you respond. A small, deliberate choice, again and again, to return to yourself.
And something remarkable begins to happen. The stillness stops being something you have to create. It becomes something you carry. You move through the busy world, through all the noise and the colour and the demands, and you find yourself radically quiet on the inside. Steady. Clear. Alive in a way that all the consuming in the world never quite managed to make you feel.
That is the life that is waiting for you in the stillness. It was always there. It just needed a little space to breathe. 🌸
If you’d love to learn meditation as a formal practice, our Learn to Meditate Course is a gentle, beautiful place to begin. And if you’re drawn to working with your energy in a deeper way, Reiki is one of the most powerfully grounding and quieting practices I know. 💖

Frequently Asked Questions 🪷
Q: What does it mean to ‘go within’?
A: Going within simply means turning your attention away from the external world and toward your own inner experience. This can look like meditation, quiet breathing, sitting in nature without distraction, journalling, or simply sitting in silence with no agenda. It’s less about what you do and more about where your attention is directed.
Q: I find it really hard to be still. My mind just races. Is that normal?
A: Completely normal, and honestly one of the clearest signs that stillness is exactly what your nervous system needs. A racing mind isn’t a sign you’re doing it wrong. It’s a sign of how overstimulated we’ve all become. The mind settles with practice, not with force. Start with just a minute or two of quiet and let it grow from there.
Q: Isn’t this just meditation? What’s the difference?
A: Meditation is one of the most effective and structured ways to cultivate inner stillness, yes. But what I’m describing is something slightly broader: a general orientation toward quiet, toward going within, toward protecting your inner space as a daily practice. Meditation can absolutely be part of that. But so can a mindful walk, a few deep breaths before you reach for your phone, or simply sitting outside and letting the world go on without your immediate participation.
Q: Can energy healing help me find stillness
A: Yes, deeply. Reiki and Chakra healing in particular have a profound quieting effect on the nervous system. Many people describe sessions as the most genuinely still they’ve felt in years. Learning these practices for yourself means you have that quality of stillness available to you at any time. It’s one of the most transformative gifts of this work.
Q: How long before I notice a difference?
A: Many people notice a shift quite quickly, even within the first few days of consistent practice. A minute of genuine stillness in the morning can change the quality of an entire day. The deeper benefits, the sense of carrying that inner quiet into the busyness of life, tend to build over weeks and months of practice. But you don’t have to wait long to feel something. Begin today, and notice what shifts.
